Members and Friends,

I’d like to express sincere gratitude to you all for your well wishes as I begin my Presidency. Your collective enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit is incredible and very much appreciated. There will be alot of opportunities to engage with the organization in the weeks and months to come so please stay tuned to this space for announcements.

If this is your first time to the website in a little while please take some time to look around and get set up with a member profile. We've made great strides with the user interface of this site and are committed to continuous improvement and review. It’s important to note that we’ve officially transitioned away from and paypal as our online event and membership vendors. Moving forward all online RSVP’s and membership transactions will be executed through So please make sure you get set up with your username/password and renew your membership (if needed) as soon as possible. This will ensure that you receive member pricing for all events.


We’re very close to finalizing our schedule for the remainder of 2014 but wanted to make sure we got out “Save the Dates” for the following:

Invitations with specific event information and ability to RSVP on the BIBA website will be coming to you soon via email. We’ll send out additional updates as we finalize events for September and on.


Historically, a great trait of BIBA’s leadership - and particularly those who’ve held the role of President - has been its accessibility to the membership. With that in mind, an immediate initiative for me is to formalize that trait and publish a schedule for open office hours where I or our Executive Director, Jon Mahoney, will be available to connect with members in a one-on-one setting. Our hope with this initiative is to learn more about what our members are up to, how the organization can help them and how they can take an active role in the organization.

Our First two open office hours will be held at my office with me on the following dates/times:
