BIBA ANNOUNCES PRIMARK AS THE WINNER OF ITS ECONOMIC IMPACT AWARD

The Boston Irish Business Association (BIBA) is proud to announce that Primark, one of Europe’s leading fashion retailers, will accept the organization’s Economic Impact Award at BIBA’s annual Awards breakfast on October 9, 2015. Primark was founded in June 1969 in the Republic of Ireland and announced in early 2014 that they would open its first US store in Boston. On September 10, 2015 Primark opened in the newly restored Burnham Building located in Downtown Crossing following a ribbon-cutting celebration led by Mayor Martin J. Walsh with over 1,900 in attendance.
